Congressional Art Show -Youngeun (Eunice) Choi’s work earns National Recognition 

 

 

 

 

Scholastic Art competition regional awards

    • American visions Nominees- Yongeun Choi

    • Scholastic ArtGold Keys awards-Charlie McClain, Angela Olsen, Olivia Porter, Michaela Velez, Maya Zhivkovich, Youngeun (Eunice) Choi (3 gold key artworks + a gold key portfolio winner), Scarlett Weir (Gold Key portfolio winner)

      • The gold key recipients' work was displayed at the Everhart Museum throughout the month of April and will be judged at the national level. 

    • Scholastic Art Silver Key awards: Caroline Curtin,​​ Samara Garcia, Rozlin Jones, Peyton LaRocco, Carlos Mendoza, Madeline Oyer 

    • Scholastic Art Honorable Mention awards: Christa Cirello, Mia Evans, Ashley Ganly, Carlos Mendoza, Marisol Mojica (2 awards), Rhapsody Morgan, Maya Zhivkovich

      • Carlos Mendoza earned a first prize ribbon and a summer scholarship to Peter’s Valley for his jewelry piece- Dichotomy of Nature.

National Art Honor Society Virtual exhibition

Out of 2782 submissions, only 125 were chosen in the nation. Youngeun (Eunice) Choi’s artwork titled Victims was selected. The artwork will be displayed virtually and the show opens on March 14, 2024 at: https://www.arteducators.org/opportunities/naea-studio-gallery-exhibitions/current-exhibitions.

PAEA Youth Art Month Art Exhibit

March is Youth Art Month! The following students have artwork in the Pennsylvania Art Education Association Youth Art Month Exhibit: Jessie Dijan, Olivia Porter, Maddie Oyer, Ava McAteer, Michaela Velez

Peter’s Valley Student Exhibition 

Peter’s Valley Art Gallery in Layton, NJ. Students exhibited work from ceramics, jewelry, and 3D design classes. 

  • Two students won awards for their work, Maddie Oyer, (senior) for her sterling silver pendant titled Blue Spring, and Hayleigh Hemsworth, (junior) for ceramic sculpture titled Straws Berries.
